Diabetic cat diagnosis made manageable

Dr. Paola Cuevas was exceptionally patient, attentive, and understanding while I was explaining my concerns, fears and worries about our cat, Tiger. She explained, very clearly and thoroughly, exactly what was causing Tiger to excessively groom herself. She didn’t speak over me, answered every single question, and advised us of what we needed to do to help Tiger.

Extremely reassuring

Extremely helpful. Got an appointment within 30 minutes and I met with Dr. Cuevas who acknowledged the problems my cat was having and after asking a few more background questions, gave me detailed explanations for every reason why my cat was struggling to use the litter box. For 20 minutes, she answered every question I had and gave me recommendations on how to decrease the chances of this happening again. I was then encouraged to visit a vet as soon as possible. When the call was over, I was later sent a summary report which contained links to information that was relevant to understanding my cat’s health more. Overall it was cost friendly, informative, comforting and saved myself from further distress. Will be referring here for consultations again.

I’d highly recommend PangoVet to pet parents who are looking for an appointment from the comfort of their home, with a qualified veterinerian for their pet.

I grew very concerned yesterday, upon noticing that my recently adopted cat is squinting in his left eye. As I read about the potential for serious issues that could develop if cats’ eye conditions are left unexamined, I anxiously searched online for a quick check-up.

Thankfully, I found PangoVet right away and was able to have a virtual consultation with a qualified veterinarian. She listened to my descriptions of his eye-related symptoms and about his existing health condition, examined his eye, and gave me solid professional advice on how to continue to care for him. I could tell that she really cared, and the visit put my anxieties about him at ease.

I found PangoVet quite by mistake

I found PangoVet quite by mistake. I was searching online for advise for a cat a had recently adopted from a rescue. The cat was 12 years old, had hyperthyroidism, positive for feline aids and a very picky cat who was at one time a feral.

My search led me to PangoVet and I took a chance. I am very happy I did. I first spoke to Dr Maja Platisa, who gave me valuable information on how to treat Sammi (my kitty’s name) and offered me tips on how relax and not get so anxious about treating Sammi. The second call as more of a follow-up with Dr Paola Cuevas.

Again, excellent treatment and helpful information. Dr Cuevas listened to what I had to say and I was not rushed. She offered practical advise to keep Sammi healthy and focus on encouraging her to eat more. I am happy to say, Sammi, while not the most affectionate in the world, she is warming up to the family and eating much better.

Dr Cuevas commended me on how well I was trying to help Sammi. It is a blessing to know that if I can’t reach Sammi’s own doctor, this is PangoVet. Thank you so much.

Great Second Opinion

Our cat recently experienced severe weight loss. After a trip to our local vet, we reached out to PangoVet for a second opinion. I uploaded all our previous lab tests, and an overview of our situation. Our scheduled 20-minute Zoom conference with Dr. Paola Cuevas was very helpful. She even took another 10 minutes to answer additional questions. Her written post analysis was spot on and provided a detailed plan to discuss with our next local vet visit. These included several specific tests not initially suggested by our local vet visit. If you’re looking for a general second opinion, and a suggested follow up plan for your pet, I highly recommend PangoVet, and especially Dr. Cuevas.

I’m so grateful for PangoVet online service. My experience was professional, informative, un-rushed, kind and delivered much needed peace of mind.

I live rurally, where the nearest vet is difficult to get to in an emergency—to go or not to go… that is the question. Booking a same day (same hour!), online appointment to see if I my cat’s symptoms were an actual emergency or not made my life much easier. In this case I was able to get him the care he needed w/o unnecessary worry, the drama of wrangling him, and a stressful road trip.

I will for sure use PangoVet again, and will be telling my neighbors about this much needed option.

So quick and helpful! I was able to get an appointment within the hour, and the vet (Dr Paola Cuevas) was so kind, helpful and patient. She clearly loves animals and was able to reassure me. She told me what symptoms to watch for, when I should seek in-person vet care, and gave me all the information I needed to feel well informed and able to take of my dog. I’m super grateful that this service exists. And now I know not to let my dog eat unripe tomatoes in the garden! I feel like a bit of an idiot, but I’m so grateful for the prompt and reassuring meeting.

My staffordshire bull terrier ate a sock a while ago and he was having the same symptoms again, I was very worried, I talked with Dr. Cuevas and I explained everything to her, right away she knew what was wrong with Bruno. She taught me quite a bit about his diet, she made recommendations, I followed them and within one day he was no longer sick, she was exactly correct about why he became sick, thankfully, he didn’t swallow another sock! That night, I felt at ease and I know I can trust her if any other problems come up. It was early in the am and his vet wasn’t open yet, she saved me quite a bit of money also by not rushing him to the ER vet!

Put me at ease when I was struggling with my cat!

I had a session with Dr. Maja Platisa because I was having difficulties with my newly rescued feral cat in getting her to adjust and eat in my home. She reassured me in what behaviors were considered normal and what to watch out for. She gave me practical recommendations to help the cat adjust, and a day later kitty finally came out to eat. It would have been pretty impossible to get advice like this from my regular vet because their office is always busy. PangoVet was a convenient solution and is always available. Would highly recommend!

Thorough and accurate

In a 20min span I was amazed at the knowledge of the vet, Maja Plastiva. My Petey should be handled better at my vet with the info I received. Also, the post office visit report is super informative and has recommendations of things you buy according to your pets treatment plan and it’s sooooo nice, it’s also nice to hear that you can buy similar if can’t find the exact as well as prior communication with your vet via email about treatment plan and to if needed further any appointments for future or concurring issues! Excellent first experience with PangoVet.

One of our cats has been dealing with a couple issues in the last few months. We took her to the vet, the vet specialty hospital and then had an online video consultation session with a very knowledgeable doctor on PangoVet. We had been eliminating things, tried to see if it was food allergy related which it wasn’t. Ran tests with a dermatologist, no skin issues found. Nothing was showing up in blood work.

We logged into our online scheduled appointment and met a fantastic vet via PangoVet. After spending time discussing it all with Dr. Maja Platisa, she offered up a couple other possibilities and explained her reasoning behind them. We knew about some of these surface seeming issues, however she considered other factors and helped by framing our cat’s behavior in another light. She took the time to hear all of our concerns and even asked a few things that others had not. We were very pleased and have started working on our next course of action to find solutions for our cat.

Afterwards, Dr. Platisa emailed us a detailed personalized action plan and visit report the same day as our session. She even added a few articles and relevant links to assist us with continuing our research. It was a wonderful first experience with their service. Our family would definitely consult and work with PangoVet again in the future.

Great Service for Peace of Mind

This is a great service to use if you aren’t sure whether you should waste money booking an in-person vet appointment. My chihuahua has an abscess below his eye that just won’t heal but it doesn’t seem to be causing any issues. After talking to Dr. Maja, I feel confident going forward. We talked about all the causes that might be behind this infection, what to look for, and when he definitely needs to get to a vet. It’s so nice to have some peace of mind and Dr. Maja was so kind and helpful! I highly recommend Pangovet if you’re on the fence about taking your pup into the vet for something like this.

A Kind, Caring, & Professional Team That Clearly Cares About Your Pets' Well-Being - HIGHLY Recommend

We needed some veterinary advice and support after hours for our dog, who was lethargic and not eating, and Dr. Marta at PangoVet was there.

She walked us through how to keep him comfortable and helped us to come up with a plan to get him in-person help. We live rurally, so after-hours vet care is hard to come by. Dr. Marta was professional, kind, caring, and supportive, and helped us more than I can explain in a time of such intense stress and worry. Our dog underwent surgery the next day and is doing very well, turns out he ate a macadamia nut that got stuck in his intestine. I didn’t know what to expect with a telehealth service, especially since we did need to go in to see an in-person vet anyways, but we really couldn’t have done it without PangoVet.

Money well spent to know we had someone in our corner looking out for our dog and helping us seek the best care we could find. Thank you! I truly cannot recommend PangoVet enough.
